This was not the strongest of races but the pace was a decent one. Goodbye Mr Bond stepped up on his three runs last season, and would have won more convincingly if he had got a run earlier. He is a gelding with plenty of scope and trainer Eric Alston reckons he will improve as the season progresses. |
