They went a good clip in the early stages here which played nicely into the hands of Vicious Warrior who was able to end a long spell in the wilderness and score his first success for over two years. He chased the leaders in third place and Tony Culhane delayed his effort until bringing the five-year-old between the runner up and the fourth in the final furlong. He is reasonably treated on his turf form and this should have done his confidence the world of good. |
