 Another modest affair, but take nothing away from Ellovamul. She came to win her race over a furlong out and had to stave off the challenge of Estimate and Carriacou.
She showed she had the stomach for the fight and was scoring only four days after racing here. Her trainer Mark Brisbourne plans to find a race for her soon, commenting, "You can only get these fillies right for six weeks of the year." With talented apprentice Phil Makin claiming five pounds, Ellovamul could be worth keeping a close eye on in the next month.
