ANALYSIS: PRIME NUMBER was reported by his trainer to have been unsuited by Pontefract last time and he put that poor effort behind him when appearing late on the scene to snatch victory in another race run at a decent pace. Like the winner, Minority Report came from well behind. He was well backed for his return to handicap company and the likeable type should not be written off just yet. Goodbye Mr Bond only had the eventual first and second behind him turning for home. He looked a touch one-paced and needs the handicapper to relent. Jordans Elect was on the sharp end of a furious pace, so he deserves plenty of credit for finishing close to the principals at a track where he usually runs well. Kaymich Perfecto was beaten on merit, while the drop back in trip failed to work for Evolution Ex. |
