ANALYSIS: Suspect form here as the seven runners crawled to past halfway and it developed into a sprint over the last 3f.

PORTHCAWL, who did well from limited opportunities last term, had run well on his reappearance it was a good effort to win as he did. Settling better this time, he came from off the steady gallop and showed a good turn of foot to settle matters in a few strides. He's certainly going the right way, and is one to follow.

Minority Report has yet to win a race but shapes as though he's capable of landing a small event, though this isn't a race from which to draw too many firm conclusions.

Our Teddy had the run of the race but isn't proving easy to win with, Bourgainville enjoyed similar fortune, Goodbye Mr Bond needs a stronger gallop and ran on when the race was all but over, and Finished Article showed nothing and was tailed off.
