ANALYSIS: Probably not form to rely on as the field split into two groups, and with the stalls on the stands' side, the majority, including the wide-margin winner, raced up the near side. However, the next three, including Percy Douglas, who was 28lb out of the weights, raced far side, so overall, the draw picture was pretty murky.

HIGHLAND WARRIOR had never won over 5f and tends to find plenty of trouble in running, but on this occasion, everything went right for him.

Although keen early, he got the runthrough next to the stands' side rails and drew clear in fine style. He could be interesting with a penalty as he's clearly in good order, but he hasn't the best of win records.

Percy Douglas is another with a poor win record, and the fact that hewas second from so far out of the handicap casts doubts about the form. He, Dispol Katie, and Seven No Trumps were all close up on the far side, after Not So Dusty, the only other to race over there, had dropped away.

Four Amigos is running quite well, having been gelded, and though Harrison's Flyer is up in the weights after his good run last autumn, he ran respectably on his first outing back.
