TOTE WIN £3.20 PL £1.60, £4.00, £2.20; Ex £53.20; CSF £56.98; TRICAST £281.60 ANALYSIS: A decent prize and a decent handicap, won by CESARE, who, having looked as though he might not get a run two furlongs out, found a gap opening entering the last. He proved good enough to go through it and on to success and he looks a progressive performer at around this distance, having previously won at Leicester over seven furlongs. Blonde Streak made a bright start to the season and should not be long in winning. Goodbye Mr Bond looks to be coming to hand the way he flashed home into third, while San Antonio, although failing to extend his winning run, ran a fine race in defeat off his revised mark. Young Mr Grace made a bold bid from the front, but was out pointed in the closing stages. Riley Boys, poorly drawn, ran a fair race, but the remainder were well held. |
