ANALYSIS: Plenty of runners but few with chances against some good performers at the top of the weights.

ZERO TOLERANCE repeated his win in this race last year off a 6lb higher mark, also confirming recent form with St Petersburg after which both were left unchanged in the ratings having chased home the useful improver Notnowcato and good yardstick Colisay in a stronger handicap than this. Both remain hanging on the whim of the handicapper in that twilight world of top handicappers.

Zero Tolerance has struggled off slightly higher marks which take him out of these 100-rated ceiling races, so much will depend on the handicapper's reaction to their private duel.

St Petersburg was not helped by having to race widest out midtrack in the pack as the winner got the rail run through. He remains in top form on his preferred easier surface.

Goodbye Mr Bond made good late headway with Audience following him through, but neither sniffed the principals. The former, 4lb out of the handicap, could suffer with the handicapper for this good effort which did not fit his profile as a 70-rated performer.

Audience has been slowly easing down the ratings and showed here that he is ready to strike again, having plenty of form on easy ground.

El Tiger, who travelled well over further since his move from Germany, was niggled along early down in trip here and again dropped away alarmingly. .
