ANALYSIS: Quite a competitive handicap, but not reliable form as the pace wasn't strong and it developed into a bit of a sprint up the straight.

BANKNOTE hadn't run up to his best in two runs since winning at Windsor on his reappearance in April, but came back to form here despite racing keenly early on. Although he held a good position, he was outpaced when the sprint began in earnest, but then quickened up well to win going away. A mile would appear to be his best trip, and a more strongly-run race would also suit him.

Yakimov hadn't raced for nearly a year, but though he shaped well he had the run of the race.

Goodbye Mr Bond is knocking on the door, but this race didn't really go his way, and though he ran on from well off the pace he wasnever doing enough to win.

Stoic Leader had every chance, Gjovic had the run of the race, but faded in the closing stages, while Able Baker Charlie had plenty to do in a moderately-run affair and his effort is best ignored.

Ridge Boy was disappointing and Credit, who was held up, never got into it
