ANALYSIS: Just the three runners after three others had gone by the wayside for various reasons, and something of a tactical affair.

My Paris made the running, closely attended by Philharmonic, with MAJORS CAST confidently held-up a few lengths adrift. Thepace increased once heads were turned for home and the race began in earnest just under three furlongs out. While Philharmonic got the better of My Paris, the pair were both outclassed by the winner, who cruised home and won with any amount to spare. A classy horse, he is capable of picking-up a prestigious Pattern race when things pan out right for him.

Philharmonic, who had 12lb to find with the winner, also had the ground against him. He is running well at present.

My Paris, rated on an identical mark to the runner-up, ran an honourable race but, like the second home, is a hard horse to place off his current mark.
