ANALYSIS: Unplaced on her first two runs this season, PARIS SUE was back to form here after making a quick start from her low draw. She was soon in front and held a clear lead with over a furlong to run, and she lasted home under pressure to repel the late challenge of Stone Arch.
The winner was a pound lower than when winning at Laytown last September and, if she comes out of this well, she could turn out again at Tipperary on Tuesday.
Stone Arch has been running quite well this season and posted another good effort. He was never too far off the pace and was staying on well in the closing stages. He is just a pound higher than when winning at Fairyhouse 13 months ago and will be able to strike again when things drop his way.
La Motta showedgood early speed, if not quite matching the winner. This represented an improvement on his seasonal debut at Tipperary last month and he will continue to pay his way at this level.
Traverse had only four rivals behind him heading towards the finalfurlong, but ran on well. This was his first outing since September and with normal improvement he can make his mark at this level.
Fiosracht Mhna produced quite an encouraging effort. She looked a possible danger on the outer with over a furlongto go but a lack of a recent run told against her. She will be worth keeping an eye on.
Miracle Ridge came into this on a four-timer but was 19 pounds higher than when beginning his winning sequence at Cork in April. He showed up well but had no more to give inside the final furlong.
Orlas Friend wasn't disgraced having raced prominently, while Acorn Lodge can be expected to improve on what was her first run for over a year.
