After a good class, the eventual champion was Reg Lee's home bred 5 year old riding horse Classic Court, ridden by family friend Laura Lucas, who broke him in.
The horse was bred as a show hunter for Reg's daughter Heather "but never really grew enough" said an overwhelmed Laura, whose first outing with him was only in July at the East of England show.
The horse is exactly what he is meant to be - a good riding horse - and 'a high class one to' said Robert in his critique, "he is a beautifully balanced with a lot of presence and has lovely manners."
