On paper this did not look a bad maiden for the grade, but the favourite disappointed and n reflection this was probably just an ordinary event.
Town House is progressing well and was able to confirm the promise she showed when runner-up on soft ground at Chester last time, grabbing the rail from her low stall soon after the start and keep on right the way to the line. However the form does flatter her a little as the runner up would have won with a clear run and she is likely to find things a little tougher next time.
