Gan Eagla has been getting home far better since the fitting of blinkers and after looking booked for a second in this at the second last, buckled down well to run out a decisive winner under Lee Stephens.
After a string of frame finishers the gelding was a little out of his depth on his previous start at Cheltenham but back to his level he was easily the best of these.
