TOTE WIN £8.30 PL £2.70, £1.40, £11.10, £3.60; Ex £101.20; CSF £62.73; TRICAST £1288.55 ANALYSIS: The field split into two groups, with all except one of the lowest-drawn eight racing far side. If there was a bias it was in favour of the far-side group, who were headed by AAHGOWANGOWAN, who made all and ran on in good style. Six furlongs on this sort of ground is thought to be ideal for her now. This is about her mark. Mugeba, drawn five, was brought across to race stands' side, but hung back towards the far side, losing plenty of ground, and didn't run a bad race in the circumstances, though her record is just one win from 17 starts. Estoille, another to race far side, ran her best race of the year. Artistic Belle also raced far side and as Petite Mac was first home on the far side, she is possibly better than the bare form. Karashino, edgy in the stalls, hasn't progressed since her debut win over course and distance. Azuree missed the break and never showed. |
