Not only did she win, albeit narrowly, but she missed the break into the bargain. This was only her third-ever startand, having been thought good enough to run in Group 3 company as a juvenile when with Luca Cumani, she looks an interesting filly. Maddie's A Jem only just failed and has clearly benefited from her recent comeback outing. Mecca's Mate ran well in defeat but edged to her left in the final two furlongs on ground too quick for her. Doohulla kept on after failing to have the run of the race and looks capable of winning something similar. Cloud Dancer, who is in-foal, ran well on her first outing for three months, while Bint Royal was far from disgraced, despite being 10lb out of the handicap. Recent Catterick winner Dispol Katie disappointed on this drop back from seven furlong |
