ANALYSIS: A tenth success, and her first since she landed a Listed event at Hamilton in September 2003, for BALI ROYAL who was blinkered for the first time here on only her second start for Tommy Stack. She had made little impact behind Benbaun in a Listed event over this course and trip last month. Once rated 105 in Britain, she was racing off 95 here and managed to break the track record of 57.3 secs set by Osterhase just over a year ago.

She broke well and was always in the front rank on the stands' side. She hit the front over one furlong out and kept on well under pressure. She is in foal to Danetime. The stewards inquired into the winner's improvement in form compared with her run here last month and accepted the explanations offered by Stack's son, James, who put it down to a combination of first-time blinkers and the fact that she is in foal. The Sweet Mimosa Stakes (Listed) over six furlongs at Leopardstown is now a likely target.

Majestic Times, twice a winner over six furlongs here and back to form when runner-up in the Scurry Handicap here last month, produced another good effort. Never far off the pace, he challenged entering the final furlong and had every chance although the winner was holding him in the closing stages.

Tigim, three of whose four wins were achieved over this trip, improved on his two previous efforts this season. He ran fast from his high draw and was soon the overall leader until headed over 1f out.

Libras Child, very slowly away on his previous start atNaas, has performed well in competitive handicaps in the past. He had run a decent race in the Scurry here last month and produced another fair effort here, chasing the leaders and keeping on without ever posing a serious theat.

Ellens Academy fared best of the three British-trained challengers and after himself in rear early on before running on well from over 1f out. He hasn't won since 2003 but has been placed a few times in Britain this season and although now ten he should be capable of adding to his tally of six wins.

Kay Two, reverting from Listed company, ran on from 2f out without being able to get in a serious challenge. He has won on fast ground and on heavy and although opportunities for him are limited he has the ability to winagain.

Sister Sox has taken a hike in the ratings for her three wins this season and after being in contention she came under pressure 2f out and was unable to make much impression.

Dark Cheetah was struggling before halfway and ran well below the form he showed when fourth over six furlongs here on his previous start. He was reported to be "post-race normal " following veterinary examination.
