TOTE WIN £3.00 PL £1.10, £3.50, £1.70; Ex £139.60; CSF £73.86; TRICAST £669.66 ANALYSIS: A strong pace and run in a time nearly two seconds faster than the nursery. PARIS SUE won over this course and distance last year and she showed her liking for it by leading throughout and winning a shade comfortably in the end. Trainer Marcus Callaghan said: "She is tough and she may run again over six furlongs at The Curragh on Saturday." Outfoxed chased the winner throughout, and while she eventually proved no match for her, she improved significantly on recent form. Neutral Night kept on well from quite some way back. She was well beaten over a mile here the previous evening but she possibly needs further than this five furlongs. Millers Weir was well placed throughout and ran a good race under his big burden. He is a pretty consistent sort. Longford Leader also raced in a handy position but was unable to find any more in the closing stages. However this run was important because he is rated 36 and would have been banned had he not made the first five. |
