TOTE WIN £6.60 PL £2.30, £1.90, £3.70; Ex £28.50; CSF £28.30; TRICAST £200.08 ANALYSIS: A handicap sprint featuring many of the usual suspects for this type of race. CAPE ST VINCENT was scoring for the first time on turf, but did it with authority in the end. He and the runner-up finished clear of the others, so the form looks good enough for the future in things pan out for him again. Willhewiz showed plenty of speed and had them all, barring the winner, going nowhere in the last quarter of a mile. Although his style of running is bound to leave him vulnerable, he is capable of winning again at some point. Danehill Stroller has not won for a long time, but has dropped to a fair mark, while Chat Show could now be in the grip of the handicapper following a number of wins. Loyal Tycoon is another who is going to struggle a bit off his current mark. Forget the running of Spanish Ace, as he stumbled badly coming out of the stalls and, as a result, was never at the races. |
