ANALYSIS: GAN EAGLA appears to have two ways of running but was on his best behaviour here. In trademark style he set out to make all and, appreciating the conditions, kept finding extra to win with real authority.

Blinkers are now a regular part of his armoury and as this was his first outing after a break, he is fresh to take advantage of the better ground for the remainder of the season.

Roschal flopped on his previous outing over fences and was returning to hurdles off a much lower mark. Very popular in the betting ring, he made one mistake on the far side, after which he was always struggling to get to grips with the winner.

Mistified has been running well since arriving from Ireland and looks to be on a mark from which he can soon pick up a minor contest.
